Mr. Arghajyoti Datta to Be Honoured with National Youth Inspiration Award 2026

New Delhi, February 27, 2026: Mr. Arghajyoti Datta, a distinguished journalist, media entrepreneur, and Managing Director of VNews, will be honoured with the prestigious National Youth Inspiration Award 2026 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to journalism, media leadership, and social service. The grand award ceremony will take place at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 27 February 2026.

The event is being organized by Bharti Yuva Welfare Association, which is associated with the Labour and Employment Ministry, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

With over seven years of professional experience in journalism and media management, Mr. Datta has established himself as a prominent media leader in Northeast India. He founded VNews during his graduation years with a clear vision to build a credible and independent regional news platform. Under his dynamic leadership, VNews has grown into a widely recognized and trusted regional news channel with strong presence across the Northeast and availability on major cable networks.

Academically accomplished, Mr. Datta holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Journalism and Mass Communication, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is currently pursuing a Master of Technology (M.Tech), reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Datta undertook significant humanitarian initiatives. From personal and organizational resources, he distributed food and essential supplies to migrant workers, underprivileged communities, and roadside individuals. He also ensured regular feeding of stray animals and distributed N95 protective masks to local populations — all carried out independently without external funding.

The National Youth Inspiration Award 2026 recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional achievement and made a meaningful impact in their respective fields. Mr. Datta’s recognition highlights his dedication to ethical journalism, responsible media leadership, and community service.

The ceremony at Bharat Mandapam is expected to witness the presence of distinguished guests, policymakers, youth leaders, and achievers from diverse sectors, celebrating excellence and leadership contributing to nation-building.
