Dr. Namratha Basetti Honoured with National Youth Inspiration Award 2026 for Excellence in Healthcare & Medical Leadership

New Delhi: Dr. Namratha Basetti has been honoured with the National Youth Inspiration Award 2026 in the category of Healthcare & Medical Leadership for her remarkable contribution to the medical field and her dedication to patient care and healthcare excellence.

The prestigious award ceremony was held on 27 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event was organised by Bharti Yuva Welfare Association, supported by the Ministry of Labour & Employment. The ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished dignitaries, policymakers, business leaders, and young achievers from across the country.

Dr. Namratha Basetti, MBBS, DLO (ENT), is a Consultant ENT Surgeon and the CEO of Sri Shanmukha Multi Speciality Hospital with over six years of professional experience in the healthcare sector. She completed her MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Aurangabad, and pursued DLO (ENT) from Katuri Medical College, Guntur.

Throughout her career, Dr. Basetti has successfully performed over 200 ENT surgeries with an impressive 98% success rate, reflecting her strong clinical expertise and dedication to patient wellbeing. In addition to her medical practice, she also serves as a Teaching Faculty at Government Medical College, Kothagudem, where she contributes significantly to medical education by guiding and mentoring future healthcare professionals.

Her commitment to both patient care and medical education has earned her recognition as a dedicated healthcare leader making a meaningful impact in the medical community.

The award was presented in the esteemed presence of several prominent dignitaries including Shyam Jaju (Ex-National Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party), Shyam Dhani (MLA, 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh), Justice Lokpal Singh (Judge, Supreme Court of India & Former Permanent Judge of the High Court of Uttarakhand), Shri Baburam Nishad (Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha), Smt.
